For over 30 years, Judge Marilynn Mayse has dedicated her life to public service and justice, with extensive legal experience in criminal defense, family law, child advocacy, probate, and federal civil litigation. Her courtroom experience covers the most serious cases—capital murder, aggravated assault, and robbery—making her one of Dallas County’s most trusted legal minds.

Her core belief is that “The Community Comes First”; therefore, she takes the time to understand the needs of our community, ensuring fairness and impartiality on the bench. When you are in her courtroom, you are a part of our community, and she works hard to make you feel heard and respected.
